ABOUT

The 4th Junior High School of Kavala is located near the center of the town, close to the old aqueduct, on top of a small hill. It faces the sea and the Old Town of Kavala, including the medieval castle.

For the 2021-2022 school year, the school had 236 students. The area in which the school is located is socioeconomically disadvantaged and has a high number of immigrants from Albania, Russia, Ukraine, and other places, making it a diverse and colorful region of the town. In recent years, the school has also welcomed refugees from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

To meet its needs, our school has decided to participate in two training courses abroad through two mobility flows. Our goals are twofold: to provide all our students with equal learning opportunities and to adapt our teaching methods to increase their efficiency and continuously improve the quality of learning by making the most of modern tools available. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the courses were only carried out when it was considered safe, in June 2022
